PyRank combines PyPI download statistics, GitHub activity, and OSV security advisories into a single view of the Python ecosystem - 750,000+ packages, cross-referenced so you can see things no single source shows. Use it to compare monthly download counts, star trends, and maintenance health across packages - whether evaluating a new dependency or monitoring existing ones.
PyPI download data is served through ClickHouse and collected daily. Repository metadata (stars, forks, issues, topics) comes from the GitHub API in daily rolling batches. Malicious package advisories come from OSV.dev and refresh hourly. Health scores, momentum indicators, and package insights are calculated from this raw data.
